About

The Committee to Vote NO on Ordinance No. 6 is a coalition of Cascade Township residents, property owners, businesses, and community advocates who believe major zoning changes should be developed through transparency, data-driven planning, and meaningful public input.

After Ordinance No. 6 was narrowly approved by the Township Board, many residents and stakeholders raised concerns about its potential impact on property rights, housing options, redevelopment costs, and the character of our community. In response, citizens successfully petitioned for a referendum, giving Cascade voters the opportunity to decide whether the ordinance should take effect.

We support responsible growth, housing choice, and the protection of property rights. We encourage voters to learn the facts, review the ordinance, and Vote NO on Ordinance No. 6.
